Graphics in game stop updating
Think I have found the root of the problem after hours of Windows tech support.
The fall creators update appeared to change some of the graphics card priorities on my laptop.
So Overwatch was trying to run off the Intel integrated graphics card rather than the dedicated graphics card.
Easiest workaround is to disable your integrated graphics card so your PC uses the dedicated graphics card by default.
First, if you have Windows XP, update to Service Pack 2 or later. If you still don’t have Direct X 9 or later, update that from the website by clicking here.
It's possible your graphics card can't support 3D rendering at the color quality you use for normal desktop operation.
For assistance with this please visit the help section of your graphics card manufacturer's website.
If you don’t have the latest version of Direct X, then you can try upgrading directly.
I've had the same problem on a laptop with NVIDIA Ge Force GTX 860M graphics card.Game won't start, just shows a pop up error saying'No compatible graphics hardware was found.(0x E0070160)'Only happened with Windows fall creators update, never had a problem before then.0x E0010160" that appears after clicking on the Start button, preventing me from starting it.Overwatch is the only game I have problems with since I updated Windows 10 to Fall Creators Update.
